PROJECT MANAGEMENT

When you partner with FORIN you will be assigned a project team who will look after you from start to finish and coordinate every aspect of the project on your behalf.
We don't rest until every part of your project is finished to perfection. Your FORIN project manager will be a key contact for you throughout the project. His aim is to keep you fully informed and in control, through open and honest communication - and they don't rest until every part of your project is finished to perfection. We expect the same commitment to professionalism, high quality work and positive team relationships from our supply chain, and our approach is to embed key suppliers into the procurement process at the earliest opportunity. Through greater integration we are able to ensure the solutions we deliver address cost-effectiveness, quality standards and sustainability at every level of the design and build. We also save you the headache of dealing with multiple suppliers.

FITTING OUT

Every fit-out is managed by an experienced construction professional. It is their responsibility to ensure the whole fit-out process meets FORIN’s high standards of professionalism and quality.

Your project manager will have extensive knowledge of the local market and approvals processes. They will also be invaluable in managing the supply chain.
We will work closely with you to understand your needs and develop a detailed construction methodology, outlining at a practical level the various construction phases and how they relate to your goals for the fit-out.

In brief, we consider the following requirements to be critical in planning the method statement for the project:

• A clear programme objective with key milestones


A programme of works and a schedule of works will be agreed by all parties and used as the foundation tool for managing and monitoring the project.

Effective quality control

Your project manager will have extensive knowledge of the local market and approvals processes.

• As the project moves toward completion FORIN will assess the fit-out for any snag issues
• Your FORIN project manager will inspect all corrections
• Once signed off by FORIN, the project will be presented to the client for final inspection and certification
• The final acceptance walk through will be totally snag free

MEP

Effective MEP (mechanical, electrical and public health) management is vitally important for every project.

Our MEP services include:

• Public address systems
Your FORIN MEP Coordinator will ensure that all MEP work has been carried out in accordance with the relevant specifications.

All sub-contractors will be required to produce detailed commissioning method statements and programmes in association with our MEP coordinator who will manage and coordinate the process.

At an early stage, arrangements will be made to ensure that any required independent witnessing procedure is implemented and that the building landlord's commissioning procedures are adhered to.

Throughout the maintenance period our team will make regular inspections of the completed works.

Your FORIN project manager will also remain in close contact to ensure any issues that may arise during the defects liability period are dealt with speedily and efficiently.
